        Unit 3 Constitution 

About The Constitution / What I Learned

The Constitution is the Bill of rights and the Amendments. I learned about the first 10 Amendments and why the still are important to the United States. I also learned about what they are and what they mean. 

Vocabulary 

Shays Rebellion- Shays's followers protested the foreclosures of farms for debt and briefly succeeded in shutting down the court system in 1786

The Executive Branch- The branch of federal and state government that is broadly responsible for implementing, supporting, and enforcing the laws made by the legislative branch and interpreted by the judicial branch.

The Judicial Branch- The Judicial Branch is a part of the U.S government that makes decisions and interpretations of laws 

The Legislative Branch- the branch of the government that writes, debates, and passes laws. Making laws can be called legislating.
